(KSL News) -- A 12-year old boy is in critical condition after being struck by a car in Kearns today.
Witnesses say the boy was walking on a sidewalk at 5495 South 4015 West, when he suddenly stepped onto the street into oncoming traffic and was hit by a car.
He was taken by AirMed to Primary Children's Hospital.
Authorities do not believe the driver was speeding, but are still investigating the accident.
