(KSL News) -- A man is in jail and his wife is in the hospital after a drug-related disturbance got out of hand in West Jordan this morning.

Outburst Cause for Tense Moments in West Jordan

Heavily-armed officers moved in after one man ran out of the house and shouted "He's got a gun!"

Another man, 21-year-old Alan Jensen, was in the house with three young children. Less than an hour later he came out.

Police later found methamphetamine. They say the suspects admitted to a drug binge that lasted more than a day.
