(Salt Lake City-AP) - About 140 Utah National guard members are back the United States after staying a year in the Persian Gulf.
The Guard members flew into Fort Carlson, Colorado, yesterday.
Those with the 141st Military Intelligence Battalion were sent to Kuwait and Iraq.
As those soldiers come home, the state is sending 18 Army reservists away for an 18-month mission.
Their role is to provide support to combat soldiers abroad.
Roughly 18-hundred Utah Guard and Army reservists are stationed in the Persian Gulf.
