(Ogden-AP) -- The girlfriend of a man who shot an Ogden SWAT officer then killed himself is being charged in connection with the incident.

Officers were executing a search warrant last week on a home looking for drugs when police say 41-year-old John Suiter opened fire, hitting an officer in the leg.

Police say Suiter then barricaded himself inside the bathroom and shot himself.

Suiter's girlfriend who rents the home was charged this week after marijuana and methamphetamine were found inside.

Thirty-one-year-old Dawn Durban was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

She is scheduled to appear in court today and could face more charges.
