(Hill Air Force Base-AP) -- The military is unveiling a new facility today at Hill Air Force Base.

They call it a C-130 corrosion control facility. It boasts more than 54-thousand square feet and 45-foot-high ceilings.

The Air Force will use the building for a specialized paint removing process, which can be operated by remote.

Paint stripping is used on aircraft before they are maintained.

Groundbreaking for the 30 (m)million dollar project began almost two years ago.
