(KSL News) A man is in jail after hitting a 2-year-old girl.
Phillip Davis, 28, was fighting with a woman in the car when he accidentally hit her daughter, giving the girl a bloody nose.
Davis jumped out of the car while it was moving. Police caught him with the help of a K-9 unit.
Davis was taken to the hospital with minor injuries and will be booked later today on domestic assault charges and other outstanding warrants.
