SANDY, Utah -- Real Salt Lake will take a 1-0 advantage in its MLS Eastern Conference Semifinal Series on the road to central Ohio Thursday when the Utah side will conclude its aggregate goals series against the defending MLS champion Columbus Crew. Kickoff for Thursday's decisive second leg at Columbus Crew Stadium in Ohio's capital city is set for 6:00 p.m. MT, and soccer fans across the nation will be able to watch the action live on ESPN2 & ESPN Deportes. RSL fans can also follow the match live on the team's official radio partners - KACP 570-AM (English) and ESPN Deportes 1600-AM (Spanish).
Thanks to an 88th minute tally by FW Robbie Findley in last Saturday's first leg at Rio Tinto Stadium, RSL can advance to the Eastern Conference Championship with either a win or a draw against The Crew tomorrow night. Meanwhile, a one-goal defeat for the Utah side after 90 minutes of play would result in a 30-minute "mini-game" (played in its entirety), which would be followed by kicks from the penalty spot if the teams are still deadlocked.
