Winds Knock Out Power to Thousands

(KSL News) -- Today's gusty winds and rain left 13,000 customers along the Wasatch Front in the dark.

Some homes and businesses, especially in the southwest part of Salt Lake County, were without power for several hours.

Electricity is back to all but about 1200 customers. Utah Power expects to have power restored to everyone by this evening.
