(KSL News) -- A new website project is aiming to help fulfill our soldiers wishes, while keeping them entertained.

Soldiers overseas in Iraq and Afghanistan tend to spend a lot of time sitting around, sometimes for months, during mind-numbing periods of boredom.

BooksForSoldiers.com is a website allowing soldiers to write in and request donations of books, tapes and other materials, and allows us here stateside to send them over.

Some of the requests are very specific. For example, nursing books for a soldier who plans to return to nursing school after serving his duty.

But, a lot of the requests are for just about anything with words on it.

For more information or to get involved, just follow our links to their website.
