(KSL News) -- The body of a snowboarder caught in an avalanche the day after Christmas has been found in Provo Canyon.
Adam Merz was one of three young men buried in the slide that thundered down the mountain chute above the Aspen Grove camp.
Merz was with five companions at the time. Three survived. The body of a fourth friend was pulled out by search and rescue teams. 20-year old Rod Newbury is still missing.
Rescuers have been searching the slide area twice a day during the spring.
