(KSL News) -- An accident in Utah County had the I-15 freeway shut down for about half an hour this afternoon.

Rollover Shuts Down I-15

Highway Patrol troopers say a man driving a small car drifted off the road and into the median, causing the car to roll.

The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected. Troopers say the man suffered critical injuries, mostly head trauma. He was airlifted to the hospital.

Troopers are investigating to see if the man swerved to miss a small dog on the freeway.
