(KSL News) -- Utah Christians reflected and celebrated on this Good Friday, the start of Easter Weekend.
Church members filled the streets with music outside the First Presbyterian Church. Then they took part in the traditional Good Friday procession, walking past several nearby churches. They ended at Cathedral of the Madelaine.
This is a solemn day, commemorating when Jesus Christ was crucified.
Earlier Friday afternoon, more than 100-people from the Episcopalian, Lutheran and Catholic faiths gathered at the -University of Utah to observe Good Friday.
Saint Catherine's Catholic Newman Center set up the Stations of the Cross, representing the last steps of Christ's life.
Participants visited 14 different stations across the campus.
