SALT LAKE CITY -- Police arrested a man accused of lighting three cars on fire and throwing a Molotov cocktail at a house.
According to the Salt Lake Tribune, officers booked 41-year-old Cory Molloy into the Salt Lake County Jail for investigation of attempted aggravated arson.
According to the Unified Fire Authority, someone set a BMW on fire near 4500 South and 3100 East last weekend. Two more cars on the same street were also set on fire.
Firefighters also found small fires burning in a yard from a Molotov cocktail that may have been thrown at the residence.
Authorities recovered evidence from Molloy's home, but would not comment on what they found or on a possible motive.
