(Logan-AP) -- A Logan man is under arrest accused of molesting a four-year-old girl.
The 56-year-old man was arrested in Smithfield Monday morning around 11 a-m.
Police say the mother of the four-year-old girl walked into a bedroom at a home on April 19 and saw the man touching the girl inappropriately.
Police say she later confronted the man who denied the accusations, and asked him to leave the residence. She reported the incident to police April 21.
The man faces charges of second-degree felony sexual abuse of a child.
He's being held in the Cache County Jail on 10-thousand dollars bail.
