(KSL News) -- A three-year old boy is in serious condition after being hit by a semi truck.
Investigators say the child was playing by the gutter when the semi started to pull away from the curb.
The front part of the cab hit the child, throwing him underneath the dual rear tires.
He was flown to the hospital with serious injuries to his left side.
