Sandra Yi ReportingThe crowded field of people who want to be Utah's governor will be narrowed tomorrow to two Republicans and one Democrat. But tonight is party time.

Tonight several of eight Republican candidates let loose as they partied with delegates and tried to get some last minute support.

Governor Olene Walker put a little spark into her campaign. Delegates were treated to a fireworks display. She hopes to fuel votes tomorrow. Tonight she's enjoying the moment.

Gov. Olene Walker: "I think everyone's kind of revved up and anxious for the convention tomorrow, but it's time to kind of have a relaxed moment before we hit the convention."

Jon Huntsman, Jr. is feeling lucky.

Jon Huntsman, Jr., GOP Gubernatorial Candidate: “I know we’ve given it our all the last ten months and I feel very good about our position.”

He took a two-step approach to sway delegates at a western style barbeque.

Jon Huntsman, Jr.: "We're trying to track them down one by one to see if we can't persuade them to move in our direction."

And it was a step back in time for delegates in Utah County. A Beatles tribute band provided entertainment at a celebration gala, hosted by businessman Fred Lampropoulos. He wants to start a 'revolution' of his own, as governor.

Fred Lampropoulos, GOP Gubernatorial Candidate: "It's just kind of to loosen up. It's been a long, hard campaign and tomorrow we'll see which way it goes."

And Senator Parley Hellewell hosted a dinner party. Two-time presidential candidate Alan Keyes, was the night's speaker.

Parley Hellewell, GOP Gubernatorial Candidate: "One big last push before the convention tomorrow, and show the delegates we appreciate their involvement in the process."

Other candidates, like Nolan Karras, spent tonight preparing for tomorrow's convention. Marty Stephens was on the phone, answering last minute questions from delegates.

As for the Democrats, their delegates began convening today.
