EAGLE MOUNTAIN -- An Eagle Mountain family's homemade costume has hit the big time.
Conner Dean told his father, Preston, he did not want to be a dinosaur again this year. Instead, he wanted to be a Transformer from the popular cartoon and movie series.
In his costume, Conner transforms from "Sideswipe" the robot into a Corvette Stingray.
Dad spent more than a month designing the costume and getting the fit just right.
"People didn't realize that he actually transformed into the car. And so once they see that, it's ... it's two costumes in one, I guess." Preston Dean said.
The family's video of Conner on YouTube (see below) is gaining fans. He's also excited to show it off to his Kindergarten class.
