(KSL News) -- The legal fight over the controversial Main Street Plaza is not over yet.
The American Civil Liberties Union sued Salt Lake City claiming it was unconstitutional for the city to give up a public easement through a block of Main Street the city sold to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A federal judge dismissed the suit.
But today, the ACLU announced it has begun the process of appealing that decision to the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals.
