WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (AP) -- A Senate committee approved a bill that would cost fans an extra $4 a ticket to attend a concert at the E Center in West Valley.

Under Senate Bill 119, a public facility such as the E Center would be able to increase the fees on tickets from the current maximum of $1 to $5 per ticket.

The measure -- sponsored by Senator Brent Goodfellows --- is an attempt to help facilities like the E Center pay for increased parking and concession costs.
