(KSL News) -- An accident along I-15 killed an elderly couple from Washington State.
Utah Highway Patrol troopers say the couple was traveling in a motorhome north bound along I-15 when the vehicle left the road, drove in the median for about 500 feet, then vaulted off the 18th north bridge and into the cement barrier below.
Both people were killed instantly.
Witnesses say it appears the driver either fell asleep, or was having a medical problem right before the accident.
An investigation is underway.
