(Salt Lake City-AP) -- More soldiers from the Utah National Guard are getting called up for Operation Iraqi Freedom.
About 150 soldiers with the 148th Field Artillery Battalion received their activation orders last weekend.
They're expected to leave at the end of June or early July and be deployed for about 18-months after training at Fort Bliss, Texas and Fort Polk, Louisiana.
The unit is part of the 116th Cavalry Brigade out of Idaho.
They'll perform stability and support operations including support on bases and force protection.
