(Salt Lake City-AP) -- The latest Harry Potter sequel is casting its spell on thousands of Utah residents.
Yesterday, folks started lining up for the midnight showing of the flick at 9 a-m outside the theaters at Jordan Commons.
By midnight, there were more than five-thousand fans waiting to get inside to see the premiere of "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban".
Fans donned costumes of their favorite Hogwarts students, teachers and other characters and passed the time by eating and playing games.
The first two Harry Potter films are among the top 10 grossing films in the world, each earning more than 80 (m) million dollars during its opening weekend.
