(Salt Lake City-AP) -- Police say they have recovered most of the money stolen by a man who hailed a cab to take him to the downtown Salt Lake City bank he robbed.

A woman who accompanied the man remained in the cab that waited as the man entered the bank. But the man soon fled the bank carrying a bag that exploded with a red dye pack and the quick-thinking taxi driver took off. As the cabbie headed toward the police station, the woman jumped out of the cab.

Police are still looking for both suspects, but they say most of the money was recovered after the suspect scattered it in the bank parking lot.
