(KSL News) -- In Utah County a 24-year-old woman was killed today in an early morning accident on Interstate 15.
It happened at mile marker 283, just south of Thanksgiving Point at around 3:00 a.m.
Utah Highway Patrol Troopers say the woman was not wearing her seatbelt. Life-flight was called to the scene, but she died before it arrived.
Right now investigators believe she may have fallen asleep at the wheel, tried to overcorrect her vehicle, and flipped.
Southbound lanes were closed for several hours but they are back open this morning.
