(KSL News) Registered Republicans in Utah will hit the polls tomorrow to choose their candidate for governor.

In an exclusive Survey USA poll for KSL, Jon Huntsman Jr. has a strong lead.

Sixty-eight percent of eligible voters polled back Huntsman, while 27 percent support Nolan Karras.

Both men spent the day sweeping neighborhoods and towns, pushing for more votes.

Nolan Karras/ (R) Candidate for Governor of Utah: "I've got leadership responsibility in the state for many years. Jon has not had leadership responsibility inside the state. he's been involved in being an ambassador and so forth, been in a family business. To me that's very different from balancing ten budgets in the state legislature, dealing with the state Board of Regents in the way I do, and leading. So, I think my experience and my background is much broader and much deeper."

Jon Huntsman Jr./ (R) Candidate for Governor of Utah: "Whether we win or lose tomorrow, I don't have a single regret. We've done everything that I know possible. We're run a positive, high road, hopeful campaign. We haven't wasted a single hour in eleven months of work. So I feel pretty good about where we are now."
