(KSL News) An overnight spill on State Road 201 leaves drivers with a rocky ride.
State troopers say a dump truck carrying rocks spilled near 3200 West, leaving several large rocks on the roadway around 2:00 this morning.
A half dozen vehicles sustained damage from the accident, everything from dents to flat tires.
UHP believes the rocks were being taken to a crushing facility when an electrical malfunction inside the truck caused the spill.
The rocks were spilled over a quarter mile section of SR-201, but were cleaned up and weren't expected to impact the morning commute.
