(KSL News) -- A head-on collision in Salt Lake today sent a woman and a child to the hospital in critical condition.

Police say the woman was driving with a seven-year old and a baby in this minivan on Foothill Boulevard, when she drifted into oncoming traffic and hit the pick-up truck head on.
The baby is okay, but the child was not breathing. Fortunately a witness stopped and gave the child CPR until he started breathing again.
The two adults who were inside the truck were not injured.
