(KSL News) -- A 14 year old girl was carried off of a mountain this morning.
She was hiking about a quarter of a mile up Little Cottonwood Canyon with her father and three other men.
Search and Rescue crews were called out, and used ropes and other technical gear to bring the girl down.
Deputy Lenny Bruno, Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office: "14-year old came up hiking, slipped and fell about 20 feet. Right now we believe there's broken wrists and abrasions."
Other than the broken bones the girl will be fine. Rescue teams say she's lucky she wasn't hurt more seriously.
