(KSL News) Kids playing with fireworks started a brushfire that threatened a home in Draper this evening.
The fire consumed about two and a half acres near the South Mountain Golf Course. That's about 145th South and 13th East.
At one point, the flames headed toward a home, but crews managed to stop them.
Five children between the ages of 8 and 12 told neighbors they were trying to relight used fireworks that had been discarded near the field.
