(KSL News) -- A few hundred youth today engaged in what could be the world's largest water balloon fight. They're all part of Youth Challenge 2004, and have been in Salt Lake City since Sunday.

Each year the Evangelical Free Church holds a youth conference, and this year it's here. 6,000 young people from all over the United states have been attending religious rallies in the morning and doing volunteer work in the afternoon.

Jeff Piehl, Student Ministries Director: "They've been doing ministry projects like washing cars, random acts of kindness, handing out water bottles, washing windows, painting."

Each student participating raised $300 to participate in the conference, which wraps up, tonight at the Salt Palace.
