(KSL News) -- Flames raced up the side of a West Valley City home today. A family of six escaped safely, but is homeless tonight.
Fire officials recieved calls reporting smoke around noon. When they arrived, they saw strong flames climbing from the bottom of the house to the attic.
Fire officials aren't sure how the fire started, but they do know it started outside.
Damage is estimated at 30 to 40-thousand dollars.
