(Salt Lake City-AP) -- The Utah Republican Party is providing a unified front today.
Former gubernatorial candidate Nolan Karras has endorsed former opponent Jon Huntsman Junior.
Huntsman defeated Karras with 66 percent of the vote in the June 22nd primary. The race between the two Republicans was cordial, with both candidates refusing to participate in negative campaigning.
At the same time today, Democratic candidate Scott Matheson Junior continues to count his education plan. He reiterated his call in Provo for parental involvement in education.
