(KSL News) -- An accident right on the parade route this morning, during the Days of '47 KSL 5 parade.

Chopper 5 pilot Dan Brown was flying over the route when he saw it.

Dan Brown: "Of all the years we've been doing this and this has never happened"

A parade official was trying to get in front of the Salt Lake City motorcycle squad along 2-nd East... and wasn't aware they were about to perform one of their routines.

The official, who was driving a golf cart, collided with two officers.

One of the officers was taken to the hospital in fair condition. The other officer and the parade official were not injured.
