(KSL News) -- Salt Lake police were called out to an attempted abduction this afternoon.

Police tell us two men drove by a man and a woman who were standing at the corner of fifth east and sixth south, and confronted the woman about a small debt she owes them.

The two men in the car then beat up the man the woman was with.

Witness: "He was pretty bloody. He was pretty beaten up; he didn't want anyone to help."

The two men then pulled the woman into their car and drove off.

Police have located the woman who was not hurt, and they've arrested one of the suspects.
