(KSL News) -- A man facing charges for the brutal beating and rape of a Clearfield teenager is due in court today.
32 year old Michael Dyer reportedly broke into a mobile home back in February. Police say he beat a 14 year old girl with a hammer before trying to rape her. Officers say Dyer also attacked the girl’s mother.
He has pleaded guilty to sexual abuse, along with aggravated assault and burglary.
He'll appear today for a sentencing hearing.
