(KSL News) The Copper Hills baseball team has scheduled a vigil for a teammate who died when he was hit by a baseball.
Ryan Nielson, 17, was practicing in a batting cage when a line drive came back and hit him in the neck Friday afternoon. Doctors say the ball ruptured his carotid artery.
Nielsen was a third baseman on the Copper Hills baseball team. He would have been a senior this year.
The candelight vigil is scheduled for 8:30 pm tomorrow on the Copper Hills baseball field.
