SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- The Utah Highway Patrol says about 200 sheep are dead after a truck and its livestock trailer rolled off the highway near Heber City.
According to the highway patrol, a "distracted" driver veered the truck and trailer off the road Sunday at about noon. The driver tried to steer the vehicle back onto U.S. Highway 189 but overcorrected, and the truck and trailer tipped over.
The driver was not injured.
The highway patrol says it took three hours to clean up after the crash and remove surviving sheep from U.S. Highway 189.
