SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Utah State Courts are offering a class for children whose parents have filed for a divorce or are already divorced.
The free class is for Salt Lake County children from ages 9-12 at the Matheson Courthouse.
A mental-health professional teaches the class, which is designed to help children communicate with their parents during a difficult time in the youngsters' lives.
Parents must register children in advance of the classes, which are scheduled for Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon, or Mondays from 6-8 p.m. To register call 801-578-3897 or e-mail michelleg@email.utcourts.gov.
