(KSL News) -- A motorcyclist was injured in an accident during this morning's commute on I-15.

Utah Highway Patrol says the man was riding in the carpool lane near 4600 South when he rear-ended a car.

Troopers say he was going about 50 miles-per-hour at the time, and it doesn't appear he tried to put on his breaks at all.
