SALT LAKE CITY -- An emergency room visit turned into a lockdown and arrest at the University Medical Center Sunday.
Officials said a trauma patient went to the emergency room with five zip-lock bags filled with a white powder. HAZMAT crews from the Salt Lake City fire department responded.
The hospital was put on lockdown during the investigation. Crews identified the substance as cocaine.
University police took the patient into custody, and the lockdown was lifted a short time later.
