- NT Haloti Ngata (Highland HS) started for the Baltimore Ravens and recorded three tackles one for a loss, as well as a controversial roughing the passer call in a 27-21 loss to the New England Patriots
- FS Eric Weddle (Utah) started for the San Diego Chargers and had 7 tackles, one for a loss, in a 38-28 loss to Pittsburgh
- DE Brett Keisel (BYU, Snow) started for the Pittsburgh Steelers and recorded 1 tackle in a 38-28 victory over San Diego
