SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- A memorial ride is planned later this month to honor a woman who was killed while bicycling up Big Cottonwood Canyon.

The ride will take place October 30th from Guardsman's Way parking lot to the University of Utah in memory of Josie Johnson.

She was riding her bicycle up the canyon on September 18th when she was hit from behind by a sport-utility vehicle. She was 25.
