(KSL News) Two former Brigham Young University football players will be in court this afternoon for a preliminary hearing.

Marcus Whalen and Breyon Jones are accused of beating and robbing a man at a Provo bar back in April. The players knew the man and the alleged attack followed an argument over money.

Whalen and Jones were suspended from BYU for honor code violations and are no longer with the football team.
