(KSL News) The South Towne Expo Center showed off the first Hispanic Expo today.
A ribbon cutting celebrated the event to introduce local Hispanic businesses to the community. The purpose of the event is to underscore the important and growing presence of the Hispanic population in Utah.
Bruce Fereday/ Hispanic Media Services: "It's becoming an economic necessity for businesses to recognize the hispanic market here, to actively court them in their business and to work with them."
