LAYTON -- The Catholic community in Layton celebrated the dedication of a new center in their church Sunday.
Members of the Saint Rose of Lima congregation joined church leaders to dedicate the new social and education center at 210 Chapel Street.
The choir sang songs, while leaders offered prayers.
Bishop John C. Wester then dedicated the halls and classrooms.
Leaders said they hoped this would be a place for children to learn of their faith and for adults to deepen their religious commitment.
