OGDEN, Utah (AP) -- A Roy man arrested after allegedly fighting with his girlfriend's ex-husband apparently hanged himself in jail a day after he was apprehended.
Robert Tuttle, 28, was arrested Sunday after punching a hole in a wall at his girlfriend's apartment before the alleged fight, officials said.
Jail workers last checked on him at 11:43 a.m. Monday, but when they checked again later, he was found apparently hanged with bedding.
Tuttle was rushed to a hospital and was kept on life support until family members arrived and decided to remove him.
An autopsy will be performed to determine the official cause of death.
