0:00 Fourth Quarter
(20) BYU 35, Utah St. 17

Ups and Downs for sure for BYU tonight. Great run game tonight with Harvey Unga finding another way to go well over the 100-yd mark. The defense really showed something as well shutting down the Aggie offense. I think most people are going to really criticize (as they should) another big game for turnovers(fumble, 2 INTs). Add to that a lot of unnecessary penalties. Coach Mendenhall will have a lot to say about those small mistakes on Monday. Alex

FINAL Fourth Quarter
(20) BYU 35, Utah St. 17

This one was not even close to the way most thought it would be before it started. No shootout and the turnovers stick out as a big problem.......35-17 the FINAL......

2:45 Fourth Quarter
(20) BYU 35, Utah St. 10

Time to punch this in and make the score "look" better......Pitta the man again! 35-10

9:09 Fourth Quarter
(20) BYU 28, Utah St. 10

That stop on 4th and 13 will more than likely wrap up a victory for the Cougars this week. I think they could punch in another score but the story of the night for me is that the defense made write a showing against a pretty potent Aggie offense that has racked up a lot of yards every game. - Alex

5:17 Third Quarter
(20) BYU 21, Utah St. 10

A lot of people scratching their heads on the 10 interceptions that Max Hall has thrown this year. With the 2 tonight, he now leads the nation in interceptions and he is keeping the Aggies in this game. This type of sloppy play is why BYU could drop again in the polls even if they win. -Alex

8:05 Third Quarter
(20) BYU 21, Utah St. 10

Utah State settles for a FG off the INT, but a solid stand from the BYU defense when the AGGIES penetrated within the 5 yard line....21-10......

12: 08 Third Quarter
(20) BYU 21, Utah St. 7

This is a big early possession for the BYU Defense....The Aggies need life from the offense to start the 2nd Half, with only 81 yards in the first half......Good stop for the Defense! Can the BYU offense stretch the lead....???

0:58 Second Quarter
(20) BYU 14, Utah St. 7

Headed into halftime and the BYU offense has been very underwhelming the last few possessions...missed opportunities and remember the Aggies start with the ball in the second half, what a differenece a turnover can make.....now the Cougars are on the verge of changing the face of this game...Pitta making it happen!....Halftime score.....BYU 21 - Utah State 7.... RF

11:04 Second Quarter
(20) BYU 14, Utah St. 7

That last "drive" that BYU just put together was not what the Cougars needed. For the second time tonight a draw on a long third down was not what I expected.

14:22 Second Quarter
(20) BYU 14, Utah St. 7

Luke Ashworth!....Great play and his first TD as Cougar. A big play for BYU to get the offense rolling. Ashworth reminds me of a Ben Cahoon type guy...just a solid guy who will do the dirty work ......

End 1st First Quarter
(20) BYU 7, Utah St. 7

Not a 1st Quarter most expected....The turnover hurts the Cougars early, but they do answer, end of the 1st 7-7.

2:00 First Quarter
(20) BYU 7, Utah St. 7

I don't think a lot of people picked the first quarter to be this close or this slow. Let's see if the Cougars can get on the other end of a turnover. Usually these teams live and die by the big play. Not so far this game.

10:28 First Quarter
Utah St. 7, (20) BYU 0

Early Turnover for the Cougars as the Aggies D with a nice pop and the ball goes to the Aggies about midfield...Cougar D on the field looking to answer the turnover.....No answer! 7-0 Aggies after a big 3rd down conversion!
