UTAH COUNTY -- Two Springville dentists are facing charges of fraudulently obtaining drugs.
According to the Daily Herald, Bret Lyn Crandall and Mark Crandall Fullmer pleaded guilty to writing themselves prescriptions for painkillers multiple times over the past five years.
The men were both charged in June with possession of a controlled substance and falsifying a prescription.
Prosecutors said both men admitted to the crimes when questioned and both voluntarily gave up their licenses to prescribe medication.
The two cases -- while similar -- were not said to be related.
