(KSL News) Salt Lake police are investigating a drive by shooting.
Police say someone fired several shots into a home at 1908 W. Sir Charles Drive with a shot gun. The people who live there were home at the time, but no one was hurt.
The garage door is riddled with bullet-holes. There's damage to a window to an upstairs bedroom and a window to what appears to be a living room.
So was this some type of prank, or was someone inside the intended target?
Sgt. Donald Cole/ Salt Lake City Police Dept.: "At this point we're still trying to figure out who the target was. It's still early in the investigation."
Neighbors saw a vehicle leaving the house, but police still do not have enough information to release a description on that car or the suspect.
