(KSL News) Investigators believe a battery being charged may have caused a fire at a Draper fire station.
Officials told the Salt Lake Tribune the findings are preliminary, but point to a charging battery.
The battery was inside the engine case of an ATV belonging to the bomb squad. It is unclear if the fire started at the battery, the connection of the charger and the battery, or another related point.
The ATV was destroyed in the blaze.
Damages from the fire are estimated at 750 thousand dollars.
